I can't believe that Caden is already 6 months old! The time seems to go so fast, but it seems like he has been here forever if that makes any sense. Caden has tried all sorts of new foods this month. He has eaten sweet pototoes, acorn squash (his favorite!), butternut squash, applesauce, banana, and pears. He actually seems to like the vegetable more then the fruits. We'll see if that continues though! He has gotten really good at eating from a spoon, and he loves eating solid foods. Caden is learning how to sit up. He can stay balanced sitting up for a while, but he still leans forward for support. He can also stand up if he is holding on to something. (It's hard to find things that are the right height, but the crib is the best place in our house.) He still prefers standing to sitting. Caden likes playing with Carrot now (well if you count pulling out his fur as playing, and I'm not sure that Carrot does.), but Duke still won't let him get close enough. As far as his sleeping habits go, it would make me very happy if he would sleep through the night every night. Some night he does great and sleeps 8 or 9 hours, and some night he gets up after 4 hours. I guess that he is just a growing boy. He hasn't been to the doctor yet for his stats, so I will post them after he goes.
