Poor Carrot

He gets harassed by Caden all day long. He can't lay down on the floor and have a moments peace. At least he's a good sport about it. He'll take the abuse for a minute, and then move some where else.

Poor Sick Baby!

Caden had the stomach flu for the first time yesterday. It was definately not one of the firsts that you look forward to!
This is all that he wanted to do all morning, but by the afternoon he was running around the house with his music table again. At least he recovered quickly!

Baby Deals

I've been getting such awesome deals on diapers and wipes lately! Last week I went to Fry's and paid $14 for 12 tubs of wipes and 1 pack of diapers. I think that I have at least 6 or 7 months worth of diapers stocked up. (It's kind of like an addiction. It's so exciting to find an awesome deal! It could be worse right?) The only problem is that I'm running of space to put them!

Happy Late 8th Anniversary!

Mine and Matt's 8th anniversary on the 18th. I can't believe that it's already been that long. I don't feel old enough! It's been 8 awesome years though, and I am the luckiest girl around to be married to Matt! (I know that it sounds corny, but it's really true!) In order to celebrate we took a little overnight trip to Huntington Beach, CA, and Caden stayed with my parents. We stayed at this really fun hotel right on the beach. It was really nice to just relax and hang out.

Caden had a lot of fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa. They even got him this little pool to play in. I don't think that he missed us too much!

11 Months Old!

Caden is getting so big, and he is very busy these days! He loves walking with his music table (not the walker!), and he has gotten very good at turning around the corners and not running into things. In fact, he will now run (that's right run) around the house holding on to the music table. He also crawls around mostly on his knees now. Sometimes, when he wants to go far, he will still army crawl. He now has no problem sitting up by himself, and he also likes to pull himself up onto things, such as the couch, so that he can cruise around. He likes to explore the house, and has no problem getting anywhere. He is such a happy little guy, and he thrives really well being on a schedule.

Babytime!

I just found out that the library near my house does babytime on Fridays, so Caden and I decided to go with Josefine and Noah to check it out. The boys had fun singing songs, reading a book, and playing with the other babies. I think that we are going to start going every week!

Josefine and Noah are Here

After quite the ordeal Josefine and Noah finally made it here. Their flight was cancelled, so they had to stay overnight in a hotel. Then their flight was delayed the next day and they barely caught the last connecting flight to make it to Phoenix. Noah is very busy and likes to get into everything, and Caden is having fun getting into trouble with him. We are all glad that Noah is finally getting adjusted to the time change because no one got much sleep when he was up all night!

We've also been doing a little shopping because Josefine has a lot of stuff to buy for the new house before they move in on Saturday.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had an awesome Mother's Day! I am so happy to finally be a mom, and I am so grateful for Caden. He is the best little boy ever!

Matt told me to go and look at Caden when he got up, and this is what I found. Caden didn't want to give up the See's candy though.
