Another Baby Shower

Matt's work had a baby shower for us and Celeste (Matt's co-worker) and it was a lot of fun. It was really nice to see all the people he works with and it turned out well. There was a potluck with good food and we got some really good presents. They even had some games that I had not seen before. One game had celebrity pictures with their faces cut out and you had to name the celebrity and their baby. Another game pictured below had a contest of who could drink a bottle fastest. It was very entertaining.

I think the real winners of this game were those of us watching.

Baby Update

I went to the doctor yesterday and I am dialated to 1, 60% effaced, and -1 station. Last week when I went there was nothing going on, so hopefully this is good news. They say you can be dialated for a while and not have the baby though. Matt keeps saying that Caden is going to beat Noah!

Happy Kitty!

After I washed all of Caden's new stuff I was sitting on the floor folding everything and I looked over to see Carrot very happily purring while kneading one of Caden's soft blankets. I felt bad, so I decided to get Carrot a blankie of his own. I went to Joanne's and bought some really soft fabric, and my mom hemmed it for him. Carrot is now a really happy kitty. He loves to lay on his blanket!

Go D-Backs

Matt and I went to the Diamondbacks game last night. We had pretty good seats on the lower level near the Diamondbacks bullpen. We didn't get any foul balls though. They won 5-2 against the Atlanta Braves. Caden was moving all over the place. He must be excited to get here so he can watch the games with his daddy.

I Have the Best Husband Ever!

On Monday, Matt was going to help me clean the house since I get tired doing all of that work by myself. Well I wasn't feeling that good on Monday morning, so I told him not to worry about it. Instead he cleaned the whole house all by himself. Matt is generally helpful anyways, but I thought that it was really nice that he did all of the work himself. I'm a lucky girl!

Ultrasound!

We got to have another ultrasound on Wednesday. The doctor wanted to check how big that Caden is. He is 5 lbs right now, which means that he will probably be about 7 1/2 to 8 lbs when he is born. Everything looks really good. His heartbeat was 158. He is already head down, facing the right direction, and sitting really low. Hopefully that means that he will get here on time, or maybe even a little early. I am so tired of being hot all of the time! Other then that I am feeling pretty good though. (The ultrasound pictures weren't that good because of his position, but here are a couple of them.)

Happy Anniversary!

Matt and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on Monday. I can't believe how fast that the time has gone! People joke about having the 7 year itch, but actually I couldn't be happier. Love you Matt!

Poor Duke!

Matt set up the pack and play for Caden today, and Duke thought that he had found a great new place to sleep.

I had read online that if you put tin foil on it the cats would stay out because they don't like the way it feels. I was a little skeptical, but I decided to give it a try.

It worked like a charm. As soon as Duke jumped on the tin foil he got out and hasn't tried it again. Hopefully, after a while I can take out the foil, and he'll know better then to get in. Caden probably wouldn't like sleeping on foil either.

Baby Shower

My baby shower was on Saturday. It was so good to see everybody, and I feel so blessed that there are so many people that came. I got so much cute baby stuff. It was so fun to open everything. Thank you so much to everyone who helped out with the shower!

I went over to Sarah's the other day, and Max was so happy. He just kept smiling at everything. Sarah sent me this picture that she took. It makes me smile everytime that I see it. He is already getting so big!
