Traffic Jam

Caden and Noah were so cute following each other around the house today. The funny part is that Noah doesn't even need any help walking, but he didn't want to miss out on the fun. :)

Walking, Walking, Walking

Caden is so silly. He uses anything that he can push around as a walker. He's really fast too! He can even run holding onto things.

Happy Birthday Noah!

Noah turned one on the 15th! He looked so cute in his hat at the party. I can't believe that he actually left it on! It's been fun for Caden to have a cousin so close to his age near by to play with. I'm sure that will get into lots of trouble together as they get older!

So Sweet

Caden doesn't usually sleep with a blanket, but I put one on him when I put him down for his nap today. He kicked it into the corner right away, so I figured that he wouldn't use it. When I checked on him a couple of hours later this is what I found. He's so sweet when he is sleeping. (and most of the time when he's awake too!)

At Least I Got to Make Dinner in Peace!

2 New Teeth!

Both of Caden's front top teeth are coming in, so now he has four! He is already putting them to good use by biting food!

Surprise Visit From My Sister!

Steve had an unexpected day off from work on Monday, so they decided to come to Arizona for a few days. They just got here this morning, but the boys are already having fun playing!
Caden is teaching Max what he thinks the music table should be used for.

Max isn't too sure about this! (His expression keeps cracking me up!)

They got along pretty well except when Max tried to hit Caden over the head with a toy every once in a while. :)

Shoes!

Caden got his first pair of real shoes. He always wants to be standing on the floor when we go places and his feet get dirty, so we bought shoes. They are so cute! He doesn't seem to mind them either. I do like seeing his bare baby feet though! :)

Happy 77th Birthday Grandma Shobe!

Swimming Lessons!

I'd been thinking about signing up for swimming lessons for a while just so we would have something fun to do plus Caden could get use to being in the pool. Anyways, on Tuesday, I was looking at different places online and the private places are so expensive! I checked the Gilbert Parks and Rec, and it was only $25 for 8 classes plus the pool is right down the street from my house! Then I noticed that the classes were starting that day, actually in about an hour, so what the heck I signed him up. The classes are four days a week for 2 weeks so they don't last long. Today was our third day, and Caden seems to be enjoying it more each time. We splash around and I help him practice kicking, arm strokes, and floating. I'm pretty sure that he won't be swimming anytime soon :), but we are just having some fun (and hopefully I am getting a little tan)!
