One Year Pictures

We had Caden's one year pictures taken right before his birthday, but I just got them back this week. There are so many cute ones that I couldn't pick just a few to post. More Lake Tahoe

Janie sent me the pictures that she took in Lake Tahoe, so I wanted to post a few. These are mostly of Caden's 1st time at the beach. I'm not really sure if this qualifies as the beach, but there is sand and little waves so sort of I guess. He loved it by the way.

Rearranging the Clothes

Apparently Caden doesn't like where I put his clothes because he is constantly taking them out of the drawers. Today he decided that he would take them out of the drawers and put them into his crib. I guess he thought that it would be easy to pick out his outfit in the morning that way. :)

Lake Tahoe!

We went to Lake Tahoe with our friends Mitch and Janie last week. We love Lake Tahoe! It is so beautiful there! It is crazy how big that the lake is. The water is so clear, and it is the most beautiful blue color. It was nice to escape the heat for a little while too!

We went on a hike to Eagle Lake. Caden enjoyed riding in his carrier as long as Matt kept moving.

Caden loved the water! It was a little chilly at Eagle Lake, but he loved splashing his feet.

Fun with Noah

Josefine went to Vegas for the day yesterday, so Noah hung out with me and Caden all day. They had lots of fun playing together. Noah is quite the climber. The boys were in my room, and when I went to see what they were up to Noah had climbed up onto the bed. I hope that Caden didn't get any ideas!

I put both of them in the stroller to go and get the mail. Neither of them look too excited about it, but at least I was amused.

This is how I found them all day long. I guess that all of the fun toys are hiding in Caden's closet.

Yellow!

Caden loves the color yellow! Everywhere that we go he finds the yellow toys. These pictures are at babytime, and today he had a collection of yellow toys piled up in the kitchen. It is so funny.

One Year Stats

Caden went to the doctor for his one year check up yesterday. He weighed 23 lb 5 oz (50-75%), he was 30 1/2" tall (50-75%), and his head was 19" (97%). He must have lots of brains in that big head! My poor baby had to get 4 shots. It makes me feel so bad every time. He cried a lot more this time, but I guess that it gets worse as they get older.

Happy 4th of July!

We spent the 4th of July with Matt's family at his sisters house. We had a yummy barbecue and we watched the fireworks from her backyard.

More Swimming

Caden and I went swimming at the Basha pool with my parents on Thursday. That place is crazy! It was so packed that you have to wait in line, and they only let people in every 1/2 hour depending on how many people have left. It was lots of fun though. They have lots of kid stuff, a lazy river, and a diving board.

Caden had some much fun splashing in the water. In fact he was trying to do it in the bathtub last night. There was water everywhere. I'm not so sure what to do about that.
