Homework

Caden's preschool class has been learning about recycling, so for his homework he had to make something new using something from the recycle bin.  We used plastic Easter eggs to make this snake.  He even put macaroni in the tail so it would sound like a rattlesnake.

Easter Egg hunt

We celebrated Easter on Saturday with Matt's family, and Caden was so happy to have an Easter Egg hunt with all of his cousins.  They are so much fun to play with!

Easter Eggs

Caden wanted to make Ninja Turtle Easter eggs this year.  He even wore his matching Ninja Turtle pajamas while we were making them.  They turned out so cute!

Construction Zone

Our garbage disposal broke the other day, so Matt and Caden installed a new one.  Caden insisted that they wear their matching safety vests (stocking stuffers from Santa), and they also had to block off the work area with cones.  I love how Caden is so creative and how Matt is such a good sport.  Matt is always so good about including Caden in "helping" with things.  He really is the best dad!

Volcanos

We made different colored volcanos, and Caden loved watching them explode!  I put food coloring in the bottom of the cup and baking soda on top of the food coloring, and then Caden poured in the vinegar.  He didn't know what the color would be until it erupted.

Go Arizona Rattlers

We also went to the Arizona Rattlers game on Saturday night.  It was the first time that I had seen arena football, and it was actually pretty fun.  There were lots of pyrotechnics, and it was a little loud and crazy.  Caden loved it!

Baseball

Caden had his first coach pitch baseball game on Saturday, and he did a great job!  He hit the ball every time that it was his turn!  Matt is also having fun being the head coach and practicing with Caden during the week.

Father & Son Camp Out

Matt and Caden went to our ward's annual father son campout last weekend.  They had fun hiking, and were freezing in the tent at night.  I got a pedicure and manicure while they were gone. :)

Green Smoothies

I have been making green smoothies for breakfast the past few weeks.  They are actually really good.  I try to mix things up a little, but I always include kale and spinach.  It's a great way for Caden to get his veggies!

Kids Club

We've been going to the kids club at Superstition Springs lately, and last week Caden even got to meet the Easter bunny!

They are even more special because Matt and Caden picked them for me. :)

Car Wash

Caden was so excited to go through the drive thru car wash!  He wanted to go again right away, but when we told him that the car isn't dirty anymore he wanted to go home and get Matt's car.  Every time that we drive by that gas station now he gets all excited about it being the gas station with the car wash.  He makes everything a lot more fun!
