Getting Big!

I love this cute little outfit, and I could barely squeeze Caden into it today. I think that this may be the last time that he wears it.

Go D-backs!

Caden got to go to his first Diamondbacks game on Saturday night. Matt got really awesome tickets from his work! We sat right behind home plate in row h. (That's right the rows with the letters are before the rows with the numbers. We were really close!) Gonzo was there because he was retiring, so we all got free t-shirts. The D-backs won 9-0 against Houston. Caden was so good! He watched the game for a while, and then took a nap. The noise didn't bother him at all.

Caden wouldn't look at me because there was too much other stuff to see.

Matt could never wait to watch baseball with his son, and now he finally can!

Is This the Cutest Boy That You Have Ever Seen?

Poor Caden!

My poor baby had to get 4 shots and an oral vaccine at the doctor today. He did so good, but we both cried a little. When we got to the doctor he was sleeping peacefully, and even when I got him out of the carrier he was so happy and smiley. It was so sad, he had no idea what was coming!

2 Months Old!

Caden is 12 lbs 9 oz (70%), 22.5 in long (45%), and his head is 16.25 in (60%). He likes to smile a lot and he bats at things. Sometimes he can even grab them. He loves bath time and he doesn't like riding in the car. He is a generally happy baby except for between 8 pm and 9 pm when he gets a little fussy.

Play Time

Caden likes playing on his activity mat now. I think that he prefers this to tummy time! He can even grab the things hanging down. (It's on purpose this time too!!)

I've Been Decorating!

I bought this new area rug yesterday. It was a really good deal, but I've been torn whether or not I like it. I like the size (it's way bigger then the old one!), but I don't know if it needs some color. This way Caden has lots of room to roll around on the floor since we have so much tile.

I also put knobs on my kitchen cabinets yesterday. I love them! I think that this is the result of watching too much HGTV! I love that channel!

Tummy Time

Look how good Caden can hold up his head. He wasn't too happy about having to do it though!

So Sweet!

Caden looks so sweet and peaceful when he is sleeping. He slept for 5 hours in a row last night. That's a record for him!

Thank goodness . . .

for the swing and rechargeable batteries! It puts him to sleep every time and makes my day much easier!

Big Boy!

Caden looks so adorable in his big boy clothes! It makes me sad that he is getting so big already.

Hmmmm . . .

Caden's scalp was a little bit flaky, and I read that you can get rid of it by putting baking soda on it. He wasn't too sure what to think about that. (By the way, the baking soda made it worse, so I read that you can put vaseline on it. That resulted in some really greasy hair, but after washing it 2 times it looks a lot better!) Poor Caden didn't know what his mommy was doing to him!

Goin' Out

Today we went to lunch at Olive Garden with Sarah, Max, and Grandma Shobe (that's great Grandma Shobe to Caden!). It was so yummy!! I am liking this staying at home thing.

I Think That I've Created a Monster

Caden would not take a nap at all this morning unless I was holding him. As soon as I tried to put him down, he would start crying. Finally I had to nurse him to sleep, in my bed, and quietly get up so he wouldn't know that I was leaving. I think that I have no one to blame but myself for this.

Sometimes . . .

Caden will entertain himself for a few minutes while I try to get something done. Not for too long though, and he has to be in a happy mood. It's so cute when he sits there kicking his legs around, talking, and smiling.

Visiting Daddy

Today we went to visit Matt at work, so that he could show off Caden to everyone that he works with. Caden drew quite the crowd and enjoyed being the center of attention. He looked very official with his US Airways visitor's badge.

Sling

Sarah had her friend help her make this sling for me, but I've been having the hardest time trying to figure out how to use it correctly. I think that I may have figured it out. Caden looks happy enough in it at least!

Caden's 1st Restaurant Trip

Friday night we took Caden out to his first restaurant. We went to Charleston's, and it was so yummy! Caden was really good. He checked everything out and went to sleep.
