Superstition Farm

I set up a tour at Superstition Farm for some of Caden's cousins and a few of his friends.  It was a really neat experience.

 

These baby cows were only 45 minutes old, and the mommy was trying to get them to stand up.  They took the babies away after 2 hours though, and they keep them separated for 2 months.  It was so sad, and the mommy was crying when they took them away.

A Beautiful Day For a Picnic

Caden and I took our lunch to the park and had a picnic.  We are loving the weather!

Chick- Fil- A Backstage Tour

We got to go on a Chick-Fil-A backstage tour today.  We learned a little more about Chick- Fil-A, and we got to see how they make the chicken.  The kids had a blast!

 

Happy Halloween!

We had a few friends and family over for Halloween yesterday.  We ate pizza, and then we went trick or treating.  We had the red Power Ranger (Nitish), Wolverine (Porter), Captain America (Caden), and a witch (Emmy).  We have so much candy this year!

Fun Run!

Caden's school had the Apex fun run yesterday.  They were supposed to run laps to earn money for the school.  Caden was so excited to go, and he had a lot of fun.  He keeps telling me that he wants to do another fun run, so maybe we'll have to sign up for a turkey trot or something.

 

Fun at Home

Caden and I had a little fun at home on Wednesday.

 

We made witch hats for my activity days girls. 

We also made marshmallow structures.

Balloon Spoocktacular

We went to the Balloon Spoocktacular with our friends the Davis', and also with Caden's cousin Hadley.  There was trick or treating at the hot air balloons.  So it was cool to see the hot air balloons, but the trick or treating part was a little disappointing.  There were long lines, and not very good candy.  Caden must've liked it though because he keeps asking when we are going again.

 

The Zoo!

We went to the zoo with Josefine and the kids last week.  We so love being able to take so many people to the zoo with us!

Ward Trunk or Treat

The Arizona State Fair

We went to the Arizona State Fair a couple of weeks ago with my parents, and Caden got to go to his first Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers concert.  He loved it, and was dancing on the chairs and yelling.  It was so funny.  He did get bored after a little while, so my parents took him to see some stuff while Matt and I watched the rest of the show.
