Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween hanging out with Matt's family and trick-or-treating with the cousins. Caden didn't get very much candy though. What they didn't think that he would eat it? Caden was the cutest dinosaur that I've ever seen!

Basketball

Here are some pics from Matt's game last night. After we got home Matt noticed that his ankle had swelled up huge. It was about the same this morning, so hopefully it will be better soon! The playoffs start next week.

Cleaning the House

Cleaning the house is not the easiest thing to do with an extra 16 lbs attached to you. I guess that you do what you have to. Caden actually enjoyed it, and even fell asleep while we were vaccuuming. Hopefully he was taking notes on how it's done, so that he can take over in a few years!

Rice Cereal

Caden got to eat rice cereal for the first time today. I use the term eat loosely because I think that there was more on the bib then in his stomach. It will take some practice eating from a spoon.

Poor Caden

He had to get 4 shots today. He was so brave, and only cried a little. At least I didn't cry this time!

4 Months Old!

Caden had his 4 month check up today. He is 16 lbs 4 oz (75%), 25.5 in long (60%), and his head is 17.25 in (75%). He is such a happy little boy. He loves to laugh, and it keeps up pretty entertained! He's turning into quite the talker, and likes practicing the new sounds that he is learning to make. He has only been sleeping about 5-6 hours at a time, but he has slept all night the past couple of days so we are keeping our fingers crossed! He is getting so strong, and he can even roll over now. We love our little Caden, and we are so glad that he is here with us!

Fun at Home!

Caden got his very own exersaucer, so that he can work on growing big and strong.

He isn't quite big enough to reach the bottom, but a towel does the trick!

We got Caden's picture taken at Portrait Innovations on Thursday. He is exactly 4 months old. He is so adorable!

US Airways Jet Pull

Matt participated in the US Airways annual jet pull yesterday. It is a fundraiser for the United Way. They gathered teams of 20 people to see which team can pull the jet the fastest.

They got to pull the Cardinals plane.

They tried hard, but weren't fast enough to win. Maybe next year!

It was a little noisy, so Caden got to wear earplugs.

The Vegas team brought showgirls for good luck.

Grandpa & Grandma Mendonca

Caden was excited to meet his great grandpa and grandma Mendonca who are visiting from California.

Garage Selling

I went garage selling with my mom on Saturday morning. I have to admit that I'm not really much of a garage seller, but I found this chair for a really good deal. I paid $8 plus a couple of cans of spray paint, and it looks perfect in Caden's room!

Bart, Josefine, and Noah are finally here!

We were so happy to finally meet Noah and see Bart and Josefine. They are going to be here for six weeks, so we should get lots of time to hang out.

Happy Birthday!

Thanks to everyone for a happy birthday! I think that I pretty much celebrated for a whole week, and best of all Matt took my birthday off so we spent the whole day together.

It's time to start buckling Caden into the swing. Matt put him in the swing last night and 2 minutes later looked over to see this.

Caden and Max

Max came over to play with Caden for a couple of hours yesterday because Sarah and Steve both had to work.

At first he tried to be mean.

Caden is really good at holding up his head and sitting in the Bumbo chair now. He loves trying to put the toys in his mouth, but they don't always make it there. :)

Softball

We went and watched Matt play softball on Friday night. Caden must have been Matt's good luck charm because he scored 2 home runs! Caden looked so cute snuggled up in his blanket taking a little nap in his stroller. The weather was awesome too. I'm glad that it is finally starting to cool off!
