My Little Helpers

Everytime that I get on the computer Duke and Carrot have to stand in front of the screen. It's not very easy to get anything done that way. Apparently they think that they should be the center of attention all of the time. At least they are cute!

Happy 30th Birthday Matt!

Yesterday we celebrated Matt's 30th birthday! In the morning, he went golfing at Superstition Springs Golf Course. Everytime that we've ever drove past there he talked about golfing there sometime, so I think that was pretty fun for him. Then we had a little get together at the park with both of our familes. The plan was to have lunch and play some volleyball, but it was super windy so the volleyball didn't really work out. He didn't even get to blow out the candles because the wind got to them first! I just want to say how thankful that I am to be married to Matt! He is the nicest person that I know, and I don't know what I would do without him. I am so grateful that he is finally going to be a daddy. It is all that he has ever wanted, and I know that he is going to be a great dad! I'll probably have to fight him to hold Caden.

3 Little Monkeys

Last Friday Carter, Ashlyn, and Hadley spent the night. Andy was out of town at a scout camp out, and Amy was doing Pat's Run early in the morning. Apparently that bed isn't big enough for 3 people because Carter fell out of the bed in the middle of the night. (He claims that he wanted to get out of the bed.) I think that they are trying to break me in for Caden!

Look Who We Ran in to!

That's right, it's Sione from the Biggest Loser! Isn't that crazy? He was at Freestone Park with his family when we were there for Matt's cousin's birthday party. He was really nice, and talked to us for awhile. He didn't give up the final four though. I guess that we'll just have to wait and see.

Max's First Easter

Sarah sent me this picture of Max with his Easter basket. You can't read his shirt, but it says "I am a good egg." Isn't that cute? I hope that he enjoys eating that candy in his basket.

The Easter Bunny came to our house last night. He left a basket for me, but forgot to leave one for Matt. Hmmm . . . that's weird.

Daddy's Girl

Anyone who knows my dad never thought that they would see this! This little girl has my dad wrapped around her finger (or should I saw paw?). She is definitely daddy's girl. I am often reminded, by my dad, that she is my sister. My parents are hilarious about Kandy. They can't stay anywhere very long because she is at home by herself, and every morning she gets her hair and her teeth brushed. I think that she is more work then Caden will be!

Caden's Curtains

I know that you are all probably tired about hearing about Caden's nursery, but I don't really have anything else going on to post about so here's another one. Look at these adorable curtains that my mom made! They turned out so much cuter then anything I could find at the store, and it ended up being so much cheaper then buying them. Thanks mom!!
